This comprehensive MC training program is designed to equip aspiring drivers with the skills and knowledge needed to obtain their Mulit-combination (MC) truck license.

Servicing the Sunshine Coast, Gympie Kingaroy and south East Queensland with Training And Assessment delivered on behalf of RAISE Training RTO 91655 a Government-approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO)  

In this course, students will:

 - Delve into the intricacies of operating heavy combination vehicles
- Mastering the fundamental techniques of handling large trucks and trailers safely and efficiently. From understanding vehicle dynamics to mastering advanced driving manoeuvres
- Will learn about road safety regulations, load securing practices, and emergency procedures, ensuring they are well-prepared to navigate various driving scenarios with confidence and competence.

Requirements to apply

For application of a Multi Combination (MC) licence class, you must:

-
 Have held a Class HR or HC licence or equivalent for at least 1 year. Any time you’ve spent on a P2 HR licence counts, but you can’t practice to drive an MC vehicle, or upgrade to an MC licence until you hold a full class HR or HC licence;

- Pass the ‘Combination’ Driver Knowledge Test (DKT)
- Pass an eyesight test
- Meet the required medical requirements, as determined by the licensing authority.

Licence Process

To apply for the next higher class of licence, you must:

You can undertake a MC Course at any time after obtaining a HR or HC Licence. .

- The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will not issue you with an MC Licence until you have held your HR or HC for a continuous period of 12 months.

- There is no written knowledge test to undertake at TMR, the theory is done with us as part of your MC Course. You must successfully complete theory and practical assessments before a statement of attainment can be issued

- You must lodge your application for your licence, in person, at any Department of Transport and Main Road Customer Service Centre with your Statement of Attainment together with you current drivers licence

-  If you currently have a Medical condition on your Licence, you need a medical certificate for the class of licence you are applying for.
